Here are just some of the projects I produced for the Angeles City I Like! Branding Campaign for 2011-2013, based on my concept and storyboard, as well as editorial and creative direction (photo/videography) and supervision of in-house graphic artists. Work also included copy/script writing and a few selected photos used for various media and promotional platforms. (Not part of my tourism work for the local government but consider the advertising value as my personal public service contribution to Angeles City tourism and the local community). Eat your way through Angeles City’s GASTRONOMIC BELT!
Angeles City sits on the culinary capital of the Philippines, Pampanga. Rich in history, Angeles is home to Kapampangans and Filipinos from all over the country, as well as many foreign retirees who like to enjoy the laidback country life and the comforts of city living, all in one place. Through the years, this independent, cosmopolitan city has transformed into a melting pot of flavours – from home-grown eateries, international restaurants to fantastic food finds. Thanks to its central location, visitors from Manila and the rest of the region can take a short trip by car, bus or by plane via the Clark International Airport to Angeles City and indulge in its worldclass culinary treasures! The city’s Gastronomic Belt is home to a long strip of restaurants located on five connecting main avenues. Begin your delicious journey at the heart of the city’s entertainment district, Balibago, with Kapampangan home fare and exotica, and authentic Chinese cuisine dotting the MacArthur Highway. This culinary mecca goes all the way to the Fields District where you can take pleasure in a wild mix of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Western favorites. From here, move forward to Don Juico Avenue for a diverse variety of European, Mexican and Japanese experience. Turn to Fil-Am Friendship Highway and savour this long stretch of hot and spicy Korean delights all the way to Friendship Circumferential Road, where you will uncover more of the city’s gastronomic secrets.
